So What exactly is the Lottery Black Book?
The lotto Black Book is a very comprehensive manual on designing lottery systems for the purpose of picking winning lotto numbers. It was written by Larry Blair, an Oklahoma Math professor who was actually the victim of an attempted kidnapping and shooting by a couple of thugs who wanted him to reveal his secret of multiple lottery wins.
So what does the Lottery Black Book contain?
This 64 page e book goes beyond simply giving you calculations for picking winning numbers, but also includes various theories as to how numbers actually behave in a lottery drawing. Larry uses terms like “hanging ghost” and” announcer” to describe various number behaviors, but he was also kind enough to provide a glossary of definitions to guide you though.
You do not have to be a math whiz to understand and apply the principles he reveals however. You might have to read through some of the concepts a couple of times but it is very understandable.
Mathematicians will tell you that each number has an equal chance of being drawn in a game. Actual experience tells us otherwise whether it is a computer drawn game or ping pong balls falling out of a hopper. Some numbers will consistently show up with more frequency than others. It varies from game to game which ones are “hot” and which are “cold” but there will always be some numbers that “outperform” others.
This idea of number frequency is actually the basis of many lotto systems. Unfortunately Picking a winning lotto draw involves much more than simply picking the numbers that consistently show up the most. It is the winning combinations of numbers that are a real player’s goal. Along with high frequency or “hot numbers” a winning combination will include “cold numbers and numbers in between. The Lotto Black Book discusses all of these theories and in enough detail that you will be able to design your own lottery system if you wish.
There is a lot of information to digest and Larry gives strategies for most numbered games.
For Pick 3 games there is enough information for you to become an expert in just this game. If a person really studied the information in this section, they will literally become the go to person for picking pick three numbers. Also, Larry reminds us that even though the prizes are not huge, the odds of winning are much better than the higher number games.

The book covers pick 4 games although it does not give as much theory as the pick 3 section, there is still enough there to get you started.
There is a large section covering the larger number games and suggestions on how to pick your number sets. Larry even has a section titled” How I Play”. It is easy to be overwhelmed by all of the information in this book if I dare call it that as it is more like a lotto “codex”. Larry does stress however that you do not need to apply every technique at once, but instead use one concept for a while and add as you go.
No lottery book would be complete without some discussion of wheeling systems and Larry covers them quite thoroughly. He also goes over the different types of games and their design. This guy really seems to know his lottery games.
What did I not like about the Lottery Black Book?
The only criticism I have for the Lotto Black Book is that it seems to be organized a bit funny in parts. He has a tendency to jump around sometimes. The whole book is not that way but there are a couple of parts that I would have reorganized.
What are the good things about the Lottery Black Book?
The strength of this e book lies in the vast amount of information it contains. Larry has not left anything out. If you want to get a masters or even a PhD in picking winning lotto combinations, then this will be your textbook.
Overall, what do I think?
Larry Blair’s Lotto Black Book is the most comprehensive manual on strategies for picking winning number lotto sets that I have seen so far. It goes far and beyond just giving you a calculation for picking to night’s lottery numbers although you will definitely be able to do that.
I think I would only recommend this book for the person who is fairly analytical and not satisfied with just using the same numbers every time they play. If you purchase this lottery manual, you are going to have to spend some time digesting all of the information that applies to your game. If you want to be the person people look to when it comes to picking lottery numbers, then this is the lotto system for you.
The Lotto Black Book was really written for someone who wants to design their own lotto system although you do not have to. If you are the type of person that does not want to mess around with all of those numbers but still wants a real and legitimate lottery system instead of just buying quick picks, then I would recommend The Silver Lotto System.
